Budget 2023: Big bonanza for senior citizens
The Finance Budget 2023 for the Government of India has the following important points for seniors.
- The senior citizen savings scheme can be upto Rs.30 Lakhs ( earlier Rs. 15 lakhs)
- The monthly income scheme ( post office) has been revised to Rs.9 lakhs in individual names ( earlier it was Rs.4.5 lakhs) and Rs.15 lakhs in joint names.
